Alongside our products we take on a small number of custom WordPress projects at a time. Because we're early-stage, you work directly with the people doing the building — no account managers, no hand-offs.
What we build
A theme built around your brand rather than bent from someone else's, or a plugin that does exactly the one thing your business needs. Clean code to WordPress coding standards, no licence lock-in, documented handover.
Indicative timeline: 3–6 weeks for a theme; 1–4 weeks for a focused plugin, depending on scope.
A complete site for a small business or organisation: structure, design, build, content entry, launch and training. You own the domain, the hosting account and everything on it.
Indicative timeline: 2–5 weeks from kick-off to launch for a typical brochure site.
Online shops that stay fast and manageable: product catalogue setup, payment gateways, UK shipping and VAT configuration, and a checkout that doesn't leak customers.
Indicative timeline: 4–8 weeks depending on catalogue size and integrations.
A note on examples: Theme Canvas UK was incorporated in 2026 and is early-stage, so we don't yet publish client case studies. Any example scenarios we discuss with you are capability demonstrations, clearly labelled as such — we will never invent client names or results.
Process
You tell us what you need; we ask the awkward questions early. You get a written scope, a fixed quote and an honest timeline — usually within a few days.
Sitemap, wireframes and a visual direction on our canvas-white principles: whitespace, hierarchy, one confident accent. We iterate with you before any build begins.
Development on a private staging site you can watch progress on. Weekly check-ins by email; no surprises. Accessibility and performance are built in, not bolted on.
Content in, checks done, DNS switched. You receive admin access, a plain-English handover document, and a screen-recorded walkthrough of your own site.
30 days of post-launch fixes included on every build. Ongoing care plans are optional and month-to-month — we'd rather earn the renewal than lock you in.
